Here’s a look at a few upcoming events:

9 a.m. - 3 p.m. Monday-Wednesday, June 25-27 | Athens Campus

Join School of Art+ Design alumnus Barry O’Keefe in this exciting professional development course which prepares art educators to organize, design, and implement mural projects with their students. Standard registration is online. 

9 a.m. - 3 p.m. Wednesday, June 27 | Grosvenor Hall 055

Breast and cervical cancer screenings, breast health education and navigation will be provided by the 91ÊÓƵ Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine’s Community Health Program. Interested persons should call 1-800-844-2654 or 740-593-2432 to schedule an appointment.

9:30 - 11 p.m. Wednesday, June 27 | 91ÊÓƵ Observatory in The Ridges

Visitors are encouraged to join 91ÊÓƵ’s Astrophysical Institute and Department of Physics and Astronomy faculty and students. Visitors may see lunar craters, Saturn's rings, Jupiter, Mars, star clusters, or distant galaxies, depending on the time of year and sky conditions.

Noon to 1 p.m. or 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. Thursday, June 28 | Grover Center E115 

Join 91ÊÓƵ WellWorks Nutrition Counselor Selena Baker for a cooking class inspired by the bounty of fresh summer produce and the flavors of her recent travels abroad. Please pre-register and pre-pay at least 48 hours in advance by calling the WellWorks front desk at 740-593-2093. The registration fee is $20.
