What if you had the chance to go back in time to the first day you stepped on 91ÊÓƵ’s campus and give yourself some advice? What would you say? What reassurance or words of warning would that younger you need to hear?

In Ohio Today radio’s latest podcast series, OHIO alumni have answered these questions by writing a letter to their first-year selves and reading it live on stage or in the studio.

Through the first six episodes, you’ll hear from fellow alumni across varying decades, majors and backgrounds as they share their personal letters and the stories and experiences that inspired what they chose to say.

Before you write or call, check out these tips to get you started:

1. Keep it brief: 400-500 words, or 4-5 minutes is ideal.
2. Get personal. Remember, you’re writing a letter to YOURSELF, not anyone else.
3. Don’t hold back! Say anything and everything your younger self would need to hear.
