iCUE Spotlight: Sept. 7-13, 2018

11 a.m. - 3 p.m. Friday, Sept. 7 | Howard Park, 48 E. Union St. Athens Campus

OHIO Farmer's Market connects students with the local farmers and artist around our area. Vendors stop by each week to bring by fresh produce, art, food, sweets and much more!

 

Bodily Madness

11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 7 | Hahne Theater, Kantner Hall

This week's show produced by M.F.A. playwright, Trip Venturella, examines the emotional and cultural baggage around bodily discharges.

 

OHIO Nights

9 p.m. – 1 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 8 | Living Learning Center, 111 South Green Drive

OHIO Late Nights is for OHIO students in the Living Learning Center on South Green. Join us for games, karaoke, trivia, snacks and more.

 

Noon - 1 p.m. Monday, Sept. 10 | Baker University Center 230

Dine-n-Discuss exploring suicide and mental health realities within the LGBTQ community. Free pizza will be provided.

 

7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 11 | Church of the Good Shepherd, 64 University Terrace, Athens, Ohio

An interfaith walk in peace, solidarity and remembrance. We will meet at the Church of the Good Shepherd and end the walk at the Islamic Education Center.

 

5:30 – 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 12 | Baker University Center, 1 Park Place, Athens, Ohio

Free food and opportunity to get to know Athens Police Department and 91ÊÓƵ Police Department.

Dr. Bradley Simpson teaches and researches twentieth century U.S. foreign relations and international history in the History Department of the University of Connecticut. He has an interest in US-southeast Asian relations, political economy, human rights and development.
