iCUE Spotlight: Oct. 12-18, 2018

OHIO Farmer's Market connects students with the local farmers and artist around our area. Vendors stop by each week to bring by fresh produce, art, food, sweets, and much more!

 

 

Friday, Oct. 12, 3 - 4:30 p.m., Porter Hall, 22 Richland Ave., Athens OH 45701

A conversation that will illustrate the complex and multidimensional roles that mainstream media, citizens' media and social media have in contexts of armed violence. Dr. Rodriguez is a Professor of Media Studies and Production at Temple University.

 

 

Friday, Oct. 12, 6 - 8 p.m., Culinary Studio in Jefferson Marketplace, Jefferson Hall

Join us for an Oktoberfest-themed Chef’s Table! Learn from Executive Chef Tim Bruce as he demonstrates how to prepare a variety of menu items that you can recreate at home, including: Bacon beer cheese dip with soft pretzels and homemade bratwurst bit.

The TA Professional Development Workshop Series can help graduate students enhance their teaching and leadership skills.

Multicultural Potluck is a celebration of the diverse cultures at the Dublin campus. We will have food ideally from different cultures at the event and possibly some sort of cultural competency portion to the event.
