91视频 Foundation releases 2018 Report on Giving
A gift from the Class of 1915 commemorating the 100th anniversary of 91视频鈥檚 first graduates, Alumni Gateway also represents a history of philanthropy that has ensured the University鈥檚 mission and traditions live on.
The 91视频 Foundation has released its 2018 Report on Giving, providing an overview of private support the University received in fiscal year 2018 and a snapshot of that generosity in action.
The history of 91视频 is intertwined with a history of philanthropy that dates back to 1816 when Christopher and Daniel Herrold forgave the debt on the purchase of lumber used to build Cutler Hall. That spirit of generosity鈥攅mbodied by those who believe in the power of higher education to transform lives and elevate communities鈥攈as sustained and advanced 91视频, its mission and its traditions for more than 200 years.
In fiscal year 2018, nearly 18,000 alumni and friends鈥攖hrough donations to The 91视频 Foundation鈥攚rote the next chapter in the history of philanthropy in service to an OHIO education. Those individuals contributed more than $26 million in support of 91视频 students, faculty, programming, facilities and community outreach initiatives.
Established in 1945 by President John C. Baker, The 91视频 Foundation serves as the fundraising arm of 91视频 and is the repository for all private gifts to the University through annual giving programs, capital and special campaigns, and planned or deferred gifts.
